President Donald Trump has been privy to a number of campaigns by the lunatic left aimed at completely delegitimizing our nation’s hefty need for a physical barrier on the border.

The left has called the President a racist on several occasions, something nearly unheard of in modern politics.  But, not for the delusional democrats, who will truly stop at nothing to destroy the populism of Trump and his anti-Deep State revolution.

In fact, funding for the border wall was one of the most adamant campaign praised made by the President during his time on the road in 2016, making it priority numero uno for the left’s “resistance” upon his arrival in the Beltway.

Even as late as last week, the border wall itself remained unfunded, with what the President referred to as only a “down payment” making it into the disastrous, democratically driven omnibus spending bill.

That bill, which Trump reluctantly signed in order to fully fund our democratically depleted military, may have just been the President’s greatest trick so far.

President Donald Trump, who repeatedly insisted during the 2016 campaign that Mexico would pay for a wall along the southern border, is privately pushing the U.S. military to fund construction of his signature project.

Trump has told advisers that he was spurned in a large spending bill last week when lawmakers appropriated only $1.6 billion for the border wall. He has suggested to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and congressional leaders that the Pentagon could fund the sprawling project, citing a “national security” risk.

So, how exactly will the President get the wall funded?  As it turns out, he may just get it out of the omnibus after all…

After floating the notion to several advisers last week, Trump told House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., that the military should pay for the wall, according to three people familiar with the meeting last Wednesday in the White House residence. Ryan offered little reaction to the idea, these people said, but senior Capitol Hill officials later said it was an unlikely prospect.

Trump’s pursuit of defense dollars to finance the U.S.-Mexico border wall underscores his determination to fulfill a campaign promise and build the barrier despite resistance in the Republican-led Congress. The administration’s last-minute negotiations with lawmakers to secure billions more for the wall failed, and Trump grudgingly signed the spending bill Friday after a short-lived veto threat.

Could the President possibly have tricked the democrats with one of his patented 4D chess moves?  Or is this simply a pivot to success from an otherwise frustrating failure?  Only time will tell, but we wouldn’t put it past the slick salesman.
