When you think about liberals, you automatically tend to think that they are anti-gun and pushing for gun control, while conservatives are the ones fighting for gun rights, but that’s not necessarily the case.

A growing number of liberal LGBT individuals are joining a pro-gun rights group known as the Pink Pistols and nicknamed the gay NRA. The group has grown to 10,000 members with more joining all the time.

Many of them say they are inspired to join the pro-Second Amendment organization after the mass shooting at the gay nightclub, the Pulse, in Orlando that left 52 dead and many others wounded.

(The Daily Wire)Pink Pistols, nicknamed the “gay NRA,” has become one of the fastest growing gun groups in the U.S., its growing membership, now numbering some 10,000, increasingly rubbing elbows with the more traditionally conservative gun rights crowd — a development that’s raising eyebrows on the Left.

In a report highlighted by the New York Post, Australian journalist Patrick Abboud traveled to the U.S. to find out why LGBT people, who generally align with leftist political positions, are increasingly embracing the Second Amendment.

“I would never have thought I’d see the LGBTI community siding with incredibly conservative, right-wing, pro-gun advocates that have been publicly homophobic and transphobic — that didn’t make any sense,” Abboud told in a sweeping smear of the diverse American gun community…

It sees surprising to see a sector known for their opposition to everything conservative, but it is refreshing to see this many liberals realizing that the best way to protect themselves is not by passing more gun control and banning guns, but by exercising their Second Amendment rights and arming themselves.
