Texas State Representative Valoree Swanson, a Republican, is getting a lot of flak from Democrats when posted that gun control was responsible for the deaths of many children during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. In her post, she used an image she got from a post from Sen. Ted Cruz, which showed 7,000 pairs of children shoes set in front of the US Capital as part of a protest about the number of kids who have been killed by gun violence

Swanson removed the image after receiving objections and eventually, her entire Facebook post has been removed.

(The Jerusalem Post) – A Texas state representative opposed to gun control posted a meme on her Facebook page suggesting that gun control led to the deaths of children in the Holocaust.

Valoree Swanson, who describes herself as a Conservative Republican on her personal Facebook page, deleted the image from her Valoree Swanson for Texas Facebook page, and the entire page appeared to have been removed as of Wednesday.

The image, which Swanson shared Monday from the Ted Cruz Meme page on Facebook in support of the Texas Republican senator, juxtaposes the image of 7,000 pairs of shoes left outside the U.S. Capitol…

Marc Stanley of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, condemned Swanson for her repost of the meme, saying it was abhorrent and an affront to the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis. However, Stanley totally missed the point in that Nazi German imposed extremely strict gun control and gun registration which was used to disarm most of the German people.
