ATLANTA, GA- If you have ever been to Atlanta and not had the pleasure of gorging yourself on the fried chicken at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, you haven’t experienced Atlanta. Mary Mac’s is a jewel of the south and is always a pleasant experience. That is unless one of the security guards fires four round into your car as your leaving…
Atlanta PD say that a customer was leaving Mary Mac’s around 7:30pm on Wednesday night, when a security guard chased after him and fired four rounds into his car.
The security guard’s initial statement to police was that the customer was attempting to exit the parking lot the wrong way. When he tried to get him to stop, the customer bumped him with his car. He then chased the car to a red light nearby, and stood in front of the customer’s car. He told police the man then hit him with the car again, so he fired several shots.
After reviewing security footage, police say the customer never touched the security guard with his car. The video actually shows the customer going around the guard at the traffic light, right before he fired shots into the car.
At this point the security guard is facing two counts of aggravated assault, and is being held at Fulton County Jail.
