Canada has been making business for northern dairy farmers extremely difficult. Donald Trump says, “NO MORE!”

On Tuesday, Trump went to Wisconsin to sign an executive “Buy American, Hire American” order. However, what he ended up doing was stage an intervention with the trade dispute between the US and Canada over….you guessed it! Milk.

Trump told the audience at Snap-on Inc., “We’re going to stand up for our dairy farmers in Wisconsin,” he continued, “And I’ve been reading about it. And I’ve been talking about it for a long time. And that demands, really, immediately fair trade with all of our trading partners and that includes Canada. Because in Canada some very unfair things have happened to our dairy farmers and others.”

Perhaps the only thing crazier than the US feuding with Canada over milk, is the fact that Chuck Schumer is actually AGREEING with President Trump!

People’s Pundit Daily reports:

President Donald J. Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order aimed at reducing the regulatory and tax burden on American farmers and agriculture. The order comes shortly after the President announced the U.S. will put a tariff on Canadian soft wood imports in response to the neighbor to the North’s longstanding tariff on diary products that hurt American farmers.

Flanked by Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue and a slew of upbeat farmers and agricultural business leaders, President Trump sign Executive Order Promoting Agriculture and Rural Prosperity in America.

“Farmers led the way across the Great Plains,” the President said. “Now, they not only feed the country but the entire world.”

The order also establishes an interstate agency commission to identify unfair competitive advantages hurting rural American companies.

There you have it. Our president is sticking up for even the dairy farmers. He is working to better America for ALL Americans.
