To some people, receiving an endorsement from the NRA only puts a target on your back, but then most of those people would never vote for a Republican anyway. For others, hearing that a candidate is being officially endorsed by the NRA is plus, as it shows conservatives that the candidate has a strong stand on the Second Amendment and the gun rights of the American people.

Thus, Wisconsin State Sen. Leah Vukmir, who is running as a Republican for the US Senate, can count the recent endorsement as another feather in her political hat. The primary election takes place on August 14, where she faces 4 other Republicans who are all vying to unseat the Democratic incumbent, Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

(NRA-ILA) – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to announce its endorsement of state Sen. Leah Vukmir in the 2018 Republican U.S. Senate Primary in Wisconsin.
