As the old saying goes, there is no rest for the wicked…particularly for the democratic shills who certainly fit the bill.

In the wake of any tragedy, we must look to the political left for enlightenment on what not to do.  Often, these “progressive” provocateurs rush to judgement, and judicial rigging in order to force through bits of legislation that are knee-jerk at best, offensive at worst.

And this is precisely what happened this week in Washington.

As the nation continues to reel from the horror that played out on Sunday night in Las Vegas, no known motive have been established in the case of lone wolf gunman Stephen Paddock; a retired millionaire who moved to Las Vegas in order to enjoy his recreational gambling habit.  Paddock’s use of firearms during his crime has, predictably and pathetically, triggered the left and their democratic cabal on Capitol Hill into pushing for immediate changes to our nation’s all-important 2nd Amendment.

“California Senator Diane[sic] Feinstein introduced a new bill on Wednesday that would ban the sale and possession of bump stocks.

“Sen. Feinstein has been a long-time vocal proponent of gun control.

‘Bump-fire stocks are attached to rifles to use recoil to bounce the trigger back onto the trigger finger. For semi-automatic rifles, which shoot one bullet with each trigger pull, bump stocks allow for faster shooting.

The bill reads:

“‘Except as provided in paragraph (2), on and after the date that is 180 days after the date of enactment of this subsection, it shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a trigger crank, a bump-fire device, or any part, combination of parts, component, device, attachment, or accessory that is designed or functions to accelerate the rate of fire of a semi-automatic rifle but not convert the semiautomatic rifle into a machine-gun.'”

It should be noted that Feinstein’s bill will likely require a massive rewrite due to the haste in which it was assembled.  Not only does the bill incorrectly identify a “machine-gun”, but is also completely mistaken in the function of semi-automatic weapons.  Likely, Senator Feinstein was simply hoping to be the first democrat in line to get their name in the headlines in relation to gun legislation.

To those outside of liberal circles, the swift move to legislate away all of the evil of the world is nothing new, but still highly offensive and unacceptable.  Not only has it demonstrated the left’s complete lack of care for the truth, but it serves as a reminder to a majority of Americans that the left side of the congressional aisle is still hellbent on attention and not action.
