The American democrats are dwelling at a disturbing distance from reality in our modern age, like an increasingly radical mob rearing its ugly head.

It has been called the “resistance”, and its intrusive tentacles have been slithering around the mainstream media for decades.  Now, a stranglehold has been initiated, and we can no longer turn on the television and expect a serious conversation about our nation’s government.

Instead, we get vitriol and violence from those who purport to create “journalism”.  One of the more egregious lies that they have told us recently is that illegal immigration is not dangerous.

Take the Los Angeles County Jail system, where investigators believe they have uncovered one of the bolder schemes ever perpetrated by the Mexican Mafia.

Leaders of the notorious Mexican Mafia “gang of gangs” were charged Wednesday with running a government-like operation to control drug trafficking from inside Los Angeles County jails that included ordering violence against those who didn’t obey.

The U.S. attorney’s office charged 83 people in sweeping racketeering conspiracies that alleged they ran drugs and carried out violent assaults and murders.

“These cases have delivered a major blow to the Mexican Mafia and leaders of many of the street gangs under the control of the organization,” U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna said. “By taking out the gang members who control the jails, and by disrupting their communications network, we undermined the Mexican Mafia’s ability to coordinate street gang activity.”

Prosecutors said the gang — an organization of imprisoned Latino street gang leaders who control operations inside and outside California prisons and jails — was able to control smuggling, drug sales and extortion inside the nation’s largest jail system.

Indictments detailed how the gang had begun in Los Angeles in 1950s at a juvenile jail and had grown to an international criminal organization that had a methodical system to communicate from behind bars, control gang territory and collect “taxes” for drug sales through extortion.

Of course, there are only a two ways in which Mexican Mafia members can land themselves in Los Angeles to begin with:  Legally and illegally.  Given their known connections to the Mexican Mafia, we’d bet that their journey across the border didn’t include a smiling U.S. Customs Agent and patting a German Shepherd on the head.

This is reality, folks.  There are bad people out there who would see harm done to you.  Unfortunately, due to the undeniable influence of the Mexican drug cartels and other organized crime elements south of the border, the United States is experiencing a problem with criminals coming to our country.  Those who deny that are doomed to be victimized.
