What do you think would happen if the American people had accurate statistics on how many people use their legal firearms to stop a crime, to stop a shooting to stop a home intruder and for any other form of self-defense and the defense of others?

It’s impossible to know how many lives have been saved by legal firearm owners but chances are the number is in the thousands. This is something the media definitely doesn’t want anyone to know, which is why the media has been intentionally silent on the most recent Waffle House hero and I’m not talking about James Shaw Jr. and the Waffle House in Tennessee but gun-toting hero at a Waffle House in New Orleans.

(Great American Politics) – Chances are, the only news you have heard in the past week had to deal with the Waffle House shooting in Antioch, Tennessee in which 4 people were shot and killed and another few wounded by a deranged gunman. You heard about how Illinois authorities confiscated the shooters guns, only to return them to the shooter’s father with the promise not to give them back to his, a promise that obviously was not kept.

You also heard about the hero, James Shaw Jr., who rushed the shooter as he was trying to reload his rifle, grabbed the gun from the shooter’s hand and through it over the counter. The barrel of the gun was still so hot that it burned the flesh on Shaw’s hand, as seen by the many photos and interviews of him with his hand bandaged.

The mainstream media has tried to raise hail Shaw up on a pedestal reserved for heroes, even though he doesn’t see himself as a hero, only as a person who didn’t want to die and took action to save his own life.

But where has the same media been for the past 5 years and even last week when other heroes saved lives at other Waffle House restaurants?

A week ago, we reported:…

Ever since Waffle House adopted their gun free zone policy about 5 years, there have been a number of heroes who have stopped robberies and possible shootings, but the media has always been relatively silent on most of these for one reason and one reason only – they used a legal firearm to stop a crime and save saves.
