The fight to protect the 2nd Amendment from progressive America’s stranglehold on mainstream culture continues this week in Maryland after an ugly incident just days ago.

Outside the Maryland State House just a week ago, two fervent believers in the 2nd Amendment were arrested after refusing to remove themselves from the public sidewalk.  This, of course, caused an outrage among liberty-minded Americans everywhere; how on earth could these two men, who were peacefully exercising their First Amendment right to support the Second Amendment, be dragged off to jail for such a display?

Apparently, Maryland authorities finally did come to their senses and release these two men after pressure from republican lawmakers and other patriots.

Now, after this injustice has gained traction in the media, ol’ 2A is getting a heaping dose of support in Annapolis, as more protesters have arrived to finish what these two men started.

“Hundreds of pro-2nd Amendment demonstrators marched near the Maryland State House on Monday night, one week after two members of the group were arrested by Maryland Capitol Police on charges that were later dropped.

“Most of the protesters carried signs that read ‘more patriots than you have handcuffs,’ a reference to the arrests last Monday of Kevin Hulbert and his brother Jeff, two leaders of the Patriot Picket, an organization that advocates against gun control laws.

“Because of large pro- and anti-Maglev demonstrations taking place on Lawyers Mall Monday night, the marchers walked past the House and Senate office buildings, along the same stretch of sidewalk the brothers were arrested for protesting on. Col. Michael Wilson, chief of the Maryland Capitol Police, stood nearby, supervising several officers who helped stop traffic for the demonstrators.  One member of the group asked the chief for a selfie.”

This sort of demonstration just goes to show that Americans are not willing to put up with any leftist shenanigans when it comes to exercising our right to bear arms, an they will not be stopped from expressing those ideologies either.

Now, the only question left is how lawmakers will react to this clear and concise message from their constituents.
