If I had to pick a favorite thing about World War III beginning under our very noses this week, I would have to say I’m pleased with how the Syria airstrike bumped David Hogg out of the limelight.

Hogg, whose mere presence is grating and irritating, has been riding high on the coffins of his slain classmates since the middle of February, when a known-to-the-FBI school shooter was allowed to enter Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida without so much as an acknowledgement from their cowardly “security” officer, and murder 17 people.

Now, after Russia and the U.S. got into a bit of a scuffle over the weekend, the world seemed to be free of Hogg’s fascist views on gun control.  The American patriots could begin to relax once again.

That hasn’t sat well with Hogg, who has taken a year off between high school and college in order to focus on politics.

Parkland, Florida shooting survivor David Hogg announced Monday that he would launch another boycott sometime later this week following his successful campaign against Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

“Going to announce another boycott this week… Stay tuned,” the high school senior tweeted along with a gif of a nervous Kermit the Frog.

Hogg did not respond to a request from TheWrap for details about who or what the next boycott will target.

Late last month, Hogg launched an advertiser boycott against the host of “The Ingraham Angle” that has led to more than two dozen advertisers publicly severing ties with Ingraham’s primetime show.

Ingraham also took a very suspicious vacation as the controversy heated up  — which many experts told TheWrap was a strategic bit of crisis communications for her employer.

This weaponization of the court of public opinion has been a staple of the radical left over the course of the fledgling Trump presidency.  By employing emotion and shame, the left hopes to coerce Americans into feeling their political beliefs rather than believing them.

It’s a dirty trick, and it has been used to devastating effect in the past.  Now, Hogg is carrying on that tradition of pitting our heart against our gut, in a struggle to corral voters into easily identifiable subsections, simplifying the work left on the advertisers’ plates.  Remember, this is all just a scheme to win elections, and in no way takes into consideration what’s best for the constituents.
