The cult of celebrity that the left has constructed around the survivors of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting from last month is more than a bit disturbing.

In the wake of the mental illness-instigated attack, the left began a predictable and pedantic push to once again demonize firearms simply because the deranged attacker was able to legally purchase firearms ahead of his rampage.  They make very little mention of the fact that the confessed shooter, Nikolas Cruz has repeatedly claimed that he was “hearing voices” during the massacre.

“Law enforcement sources referred to the alleged voices as ‘demons,’ according to the outlet, and said Cruz, 19, claimed that they told him what he needed to do to launch the deadly assault.

“And between 2011 and 2016, authorities responded to 39 calls to Cruz’s home in Parkland, WSVN reported. The issues varied “from domestic disturbance to child/elder abuse,” the outlet said.“Details of Cruz’s troubled past began to emerge in the hours after the massacre. In accounts from classmates, Cruz was described as a ‘weird kid’ and a ‘loner,’ with one person adding that he was kicked out of school for getting into a fight with his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.”

In the aftermath of this attack, the liberal left has been working overtime to spin the rampage as an issue of the Second Amendment, as opposed to an issue of mental health and police accountability.  In this effort, the mainstream media has repeatedly called on a number of Parkland survivors to parrot their progressive agenda.

Now, it looks as though notoriously left-leaning hip hop superstar Eminem is joining the fray.

“Eminem and Kehlani brought ‘Nowhere Fast’ to the stage at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards. With a live band and string section in tow, Eminem and Kehlani offered an impassioned performance of the Revival cut.

“The performance was largely notable for its introduction, courtesy of fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean — who recalled his mom buying him Em’s debut album The Slim Shady LP from CostCo back in 1999 — and a survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooting in Parkland, Florida named Alex Moscou, who challenged the American government to change the country’s gun control laws, and invited the audience to join him in the March for Our Lives on March 24.

“‘We’re tired of hearing politicians send their thoughts and prayers to us, and doing nothing to make the necessary changes to prevent this tragedy from happening again,’ Alex expressed. ‘If those elected to represent won’t do what’s right to keep us safe, we’re going to be too loud for them to ignore.'”

To keep this in perspective, this message was brought to you by a rapper who has made allusions to homophobia, murdering politicians, and chopping up his ex wife on a number of albums.
