Democrats and the mainstream media are not interested in stories involving domestic violence when it comes to DNC co-chair Keith Ellison or Delaware Sen. Tom Carper.

The craziest part is that the MSM is focused on 36-year-old allegations against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, while Ellison’s ex-girlfriend has a doctor’s note confirming the abuse.

Even nuttier? Sen. Carper admitted to hitting his wife.

Where’s the outrage?

From Daily Caller:

Democratic Delaware Sen. Tom Carper has remained almost entirely silent about the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Carper issued a single tweet — though not a formal statement — on Sept. 17 calling for Kavanaugh’s confirmation to be pushed back, citing Republican Sens. Jeff Flake of Arizona and Bob Corker of Tennessee.

“My Republican colleagues are right. When credible accusations are made, there are many things a Senate committee should do,” Carper wrote.

The Kavanaugh controversy could prove tricky to navigate, given his own #MeToo history. The Delaware senator admitted in a 1998 interview that he hit his ex-wife in the face, leaving her with a black eye.

“Did I slap my wife 20 years ago? Yes,” Carper said in the interview, which the Washington Free Beacon first resurfaced in Dec. 2017. “Do I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? No.”

Donald Trump Jr. made sure to remind the MSM of Carper’s actions, per Delaware Online:

U.S. Sen. Tom Carper’s decades-old spousal abuse controversy was resurrected Thursday by President Donald Trump’s oldest son.

“You admitted to hitting your wife so hard it gave her a black eye,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote in a tweet he later retweeted.

Trump Jr. was referring to an incident in the early 1980s in which Carper slapped his now late-wife Diane.

“Senator Carper has always been — and will continue to be — undeterred in his efforts to make sure our government officials are following the law and are held accountable to the Americans they are supposed to serve,” said Carper spokeswoman Katie Wilson. “He certainly isn’t going to let anyone, especially a man who routinely traffics in conspiracy theories and mocks victims of sexual assault, distract him from pursuing the truth and doing his job.”

More on Karen Monahan, ex-girlfriend of Keith Ellison, who details how the Democrat party, her party, has “smeared, threatened, and isolated” her.

From Daily Caller:

DNC Deputy Chair and Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison has been accused domestic abuse by former girlfriend Karen Monahan. Monahan broke her story earlier in the year, claiming to have video evidence of Ellison physically abusing her and using sexist slurs toward her.

Monahan has been slowly telling her story through Twitter, explaining how Democrats in her state attempted to silence her and “isolate” her. When a follower asked if Democrats believed her claims, Monahan said, “I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party.”

From Monahan:

Monahan has now produced a revealing doctor’s note. It’s bad news for Ellison, but the Democrat Party and mainstream media literally could not care less.

From Daily Caller:

The ex-girlfriend accusing Democratic Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse told her doctor in 2017 about alleged “emotional and physical abuse” from Ellison, according to a document the woman published Wednesday.

Karen Monahan’s account in the doctor’s report is consistent with what she has been saying publicly since August: that Ellison was emotionally and physically abusive to her while the two were dating.

“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” reads the November 2017 report, a picture of which Monahan posted on Twitter.

“She did not have any physical injuries that required an examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly,” the report states.

Very sad.

Nobody believes this woman’s story simply because the man accused of hitting her is a Democrat.

That’s not right.

If this isn’t a 10/10 for hypocrisy by Democrats, then nothing ever will be. They’ll claim to believe women’s stories of abuse no matter what – just as long as the woman was abused by a Republican.

In a nutshell, the left is filled with craziness.
