Texas Senator Ted Cruz is many things.

He’s a master debater, politician, and wordsmith, who knows how to get the answers he needs from whomever he needs them from in scintillating fashion.

During his time to speak at the Kavanaugh/Ford hearing on Thursday, Cruz brilliantly exposed Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).

From Right Scoop:

Ted Cruz, in his normal brilliant way, refuted the nonsense put forth by Feinstein during the Kavanaugh hearing that they didn’t do anything wrong in this process.

What happened in the clip (between the cuts) that you don’t see is that during Cruz’s comments, Feinstein interjected that they didn’t leak the letter to the press. But even more than that, Feinstein defended herself by saying that she was told to keep the letter confidential by Ford and that’s what she did.

Feinstein sent Ford’s letter to the FBI after sitting on it for weeks and weeks.

From Western Journal:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein referred a letter relating to Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation.

“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further,” the California Democrat said in a statement released on Thursday.

“I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities,” she continued.

The Hill reported that over the past two days Feinstein, who is the senior Democrat member on the Judiciary Committee, has declined to answer Capitol Hill reporters’ questions about the letter.

She has also refused to share the contents of the letter — which was reportedly first given to her by Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Calif. — with fellow members of the Judiciary Committee, according to The Intercept.

Almost immediately, the secret letter blew up in Democrats’ faces as the FBI announced they were not investigating Kavanaugh.

From Daily Wire:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has declined to investigate Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over allegations sent to them by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).

Matt Zapotosky of The Washington Post quoted an FBI official as saying: “Upon receipt of the information on the night of September 12, we included it as part of Judge Kavanaugh’s background file, as per the standard process.” He also reported that the agency was not opening a criminal investigation into what Kavanaugh may or may not have done as a high school student.

Here’s the White House’s response to the letter:

Feinstein (D-CA) has now admitted to coordinating with a father of one of the students killed in the senseless Parkland school shooting before the Kavanaugh hearing.

Isn’t that kind of a problem?

From Breitbart:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) revealed Tuesday evening Parkland father Fred Guttenberg, who attempted to shake Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s hand during his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, was invited by herself.

Moments later, Fred Guttenberg, father of slain Parkland student Jaime Guttenberg, confirmed his acceptance of Feinstein’s invitation to the hearing and dismissed accusations that his attempt to shake the nominee’s hand was a political stunt.

“To be clear, I was invited by Senator Feinstein to attend today. Anyone who knows me knows I will talk to anyone,” he tweeted. “I initiated an effort to introduce myself to Kavanaugh. It was my decison and I own it. Anyone trying to come up with some politial master plan is simply wrong.”
