I’ve been asked in the past about the difference between concealed carry and constitutional carry.

Concealed carry is the ability to carry a concealed weapon – under a jacket, in a purse, etc. In many states, a permit is required to legally conceal carry.

Constitutional carry is also called permitless carry as it allows for anyone to legally carry a firearm either concealed or openly.

A growing number of states run by conservatives who value the Second Amendment rights of the people have passed constitutional carry laws. One of the arguments used to support constitutional carry laws other than the Second Amendment is that allowing more people to carry guns, fewer people will be victims of crimes and in time, crime rates should decrease.

Efforts are being made in Wisconsin to pass a constitutional carry law.
