CNN and many other leftwing media outlets are quick to fact check everything President Donald Trump says or whatever any Republican states. They will pick at every little error and accuse the person of lying, being stupid or intentionally misrepresenting themselves and twisting the facts.

Yet, they have a long habit of allowing many liberals like themselves to make numerous false statements and false facts without fact checking them or trying to correct them. This is especially true when it comes to gun control and one of these networks interview an anti-gun fanatic who spews mostly nonsense.

Recently, CNN host Brian Stelter admitted that he did not fact check much of the interview he had with anti-gun student leader, David Hogg.

(The Washington Free Beacon) – CNN’s “Reliable Sources” host and senior media correspondent Brian Stelter admitted on Monday that he didn’t correct young gun control activist David Hogg on his show.

In an “S.E. Cupp Unfiltered” interview transcribed by Newsbusters, host S.E. Cupp asked Stelter about the media’s habit of boosting students pushing gun control in the wake of the Parkland, Florida school shotting.

“Brian, we as a business have been giving these kids a lot of coverage. All the networks have in some way or another,” Cupp said.

Cupp went on to note that the students’ emotional appeals have taken priority over discussing gun policy, given that it is “boring.” …

If you listen to Hogg and many of his fellow anti-gun student activists, you will quickly discover that many of them are regurgitating false rhetoric long used by the liberal left in their effort to repeal the Second Amendment. One thing needs to be noted about David Hogg is that he has finally admitted that he was NOT at school the day of the shooting, so all of those statements he made about being afraid and so on, are nothing but lies.
