Despite being worlds apart, this couple was reunited for a beautiful pregnancy shoot, through creative photos.

After being deployed in November, Navy Corpsman Wesley Bedwell is currently serving overseas, while his pregnant wife is living in Texas. Nicole Bedwell decided to hire a photographer for a pregnancy shoot, and was hoping to capture a few photos for her husband to “hold dear, while overseas.”

Little did she know that the photos she would get would take away the breath of people across the country!

Fox reports:

Photographer Tracy Fugitt, of Traci Lynn Photography, worked with Bedwell on her maternity shoot, initially capturing just solo shots of her cradling her bump.

Fugitt then thought of an idea — to crop Wesley Bedwell into one of the photos, according to the news station.

Fugitt posted the side-by-side photo on her photography Facebook page on April 5, which has garnered hundreds of reactions.

Nicole developed hypertension, and Bedwell was reportedly able to returned home. Paper, their newborn daughter, was welcomed into the world on Thursday, according to Fugitt’s photography Facebook page.
