A retired Air Force General has been stripped of two stars for sexual misconduct. 

General Arthur Lichte reportedly engaged in inappropriate sexual acts with another woman who was not his wife. However, the affair happened more than five years ago so he was not charged under the usual Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The Air Force did issue a letter of reprimand though.

(FOX)- Air Force Gen. Arthur Lichte retired in January. 2010. But following an investigation into a complaint filed by a former subordinate, the Air Force has demoted him to major general.

That will cut his retirement pay by about $5,000 a month.
